In 2016, Gilbert & Gaillard rated Family Reserve 2013 94 points, noting “Intense nose marrying redcurrant and cherry with a delicate herbal dimension. The palate shows seductive balance, soft tannins and precise aromas of red fruits and chocolate fondant. Wonderful length.”
In 2016, The Flying Winemaker awarded 2013 Family Reserve 92 points, saying: “Bright ruby in the glass whilst displaying aromas of mochas, tea leaves, green peppers, and red fruits. The palate is juicy and driven by firm dusty tannins extracted from oak and grape skins… ”
